The Valencia Collection is crafted of Selunsar wood, a dense and highly durable hardwood with a warm, reddish mahogany-brown color. Selunsar wood is ideal for outdoor furniture, rivaling Teak for strength and resistance to the nature's elements. Every piece in the Valencia Collection is pre-finished with linseed oil and built using mortise and tenon joinery and rust-resistant hardware. All pieces are easy to assemble and require a few basic tools.

Dark Selunsar is reclaimed eco friendly merah Wood from along rivers, coasts and forests in Singapore. This Wood Is very dense and has a beautiful dark grain. This durable wood is used in tropical areas for bridges, exposed beams for homes, Indoor and Outdoor Furniture and Jetties. Crafted from durable Selunsar, well-known for its natural resistance to decay and insects, the table weathers to a beautiful silver-gray color with age like teak. Selunsar is a hardwood with properties quite similar to teak, but it is much stronger and heavier. Since selunsar is more abundant in nature, it's comparatively less expensive than teak, giving you exceptional quality and workmanship at an extremely reasonable price.

Checking: It is a natural occurrence for almost all types of outdoor furniture to experience some sort of checking throughout its life. Checking is another name for the small cracks you will see in the arms, around screws or bolts, and on other surfaces of your furniture. These cracks will stabilize over time and do not harm the integrity of the furniture in any way. In fact, they add to the individuality and rustic look of each piece.

Cleaning and Refinishing: To keep the natural colors of most outdoor woods, apply linseed conditioner every 1-3 months. After your furniture has turned gray there are two ways to bring back the original color. The first is to purchase a cleaner and the second is to use fine grit sandpaper thoroughly over the entire surface.
